The king....would it be a curse? or a blessing? to be given that title and responsibilty?

If he is not equipped to handle that kind of load would it be good for the king or the people? Or would everyone suffer?

Lets put aside the JW's for a second...

I consider them and their guesses a result...not the source of the big problem.

I will give up a million battles to win the war.....sometimes you have to ignore the results and go after the source of problems if you want to actually win and solve them. Or another way of putting it....short-term sacrifices for long term benefits...I use this philosophy in my life and my business. It makes for some really tough decisions too. Makes you even look uncaring and self-centered to people watching and the result of that is scorn by your friends and loved ones who think you don't care about them and their problems.

My defense is this.....Why spend all your time loving and teaching your son(s)...if their surrounding say they will die at an early age if someone does not go attack the problem that is threatening thier long term safety? What would you do? Would you bite the bullet and take the heat and scorn...and go after the problem leaving them behind and in a little danger while you attempt to take care of business and secure their futures? Or bow to the scorn and focus instead on being a good father in the eyes of your peers to a doomed innocent little boy?

How does a person tell between their thoughts and if God is communicating?

i asked my jw mom today...."how do you know if your thoughts are your or god communicating to you?.

the official jw explanation she refered me to is....."you just know"...... .

would anyone risk their lives, obey, and slave for someone because "they just know"?.

I remember him....I have been on here quite awhile myself under another name. I made a few posts that the mods did not feel you had the discernment to view and evaluate effectivily on your own...So they deleted them before you were given a chance to utilize your own discernment on them.

The "steward" is IMO a pretty obvious misguided person who's intentions seem to be wanting to be somehow better than everyone else...or more privy to God and His thoughts than us.

He is throwing guesses around as facts or "truth" that he gives himself away easilly and quickly by doing so.

I can't believe the mods would bother with banning him personally...

That is more recognition than his words and behavior call for IMO.

What would it be like being responsible to fix everyones problems for them all the time when they come to you for guidance? Would you have any time to enjoy yourself..or free-time? Every decision you make pisses someone off..and brings new enemies..Is that "freedom" or "slavery"? What are the benefits of being the final authority and having the final say on things?

Would you keep the superior knowledge and experience you have to yourself..so you remain superior to everyone else? Or spend all your time sharing it "spreading the curse" so your dependants will no longer have to rely upon you to solve their day to day problems...in the hope that one day you may actaully get to experience some "free-time" without shrinking from your responsibilities to do so?

Would you wish to remain a "nobody" and have a "superior" wait on you hand and foot...solving your problems for you..punishing your enemies..making sure you are treated fairly..and accepting responsibility for leading you in the right direction?

Who is "really" the slave..and the "master"?

What would you do if you were made king of this world? Would all your expectations be crushed...and would you feel trapped by the enormous responsibilty that came with the position...and ask..no pray..to be a "nobody", "follower" again? And start on a journey to accomplish that very thing ASAP?

How would you deal with it?

Is there anyway a king can become a nobody again? What would be the best way to accomplish this?

I feel pity for the FDS if he is a human....He would be the most cursed of all humans to be given a role like that.

Stuck trying to please a perfect Boss who never makes a mistake...and a wild, crazy, demanding, evil, and self-destructive customer base. He is given responsibilty for and is expected to turn around to please a perfect Boss.

Or am I missing something good in there somewhere to be had from such a role?

Any thoughts?

I claim nothing.

I expect God to reveal who REALLY is the FDS.

A real messenger does not need to "claim"....a real messenger PROVES.

When he does.....the claimers and guessers run to the hills to hide from the answers they "claimed" to possess and really never did.

That is my guess as to what is going to go down shortly.

Now if that is my thoughts and guesses. Or God revealing something to me...I don't really know at this point.

But if it comes true...I could be on the right track anyway.

well, i stumbled onto this site and decided, after reading a bit to post.. who am i?

i am "no longer one of jehovah's witnesses" as they say now, they no longer use the word "disfellowshipped" in the announcments now.

why am i df'd?

Sometimes in the quest for truth you have to make some difficult decisions...and even sacrifices.

Perhaps you should try going ahead,,,hoping the whole time they will come to their senses and come running back after you...as now you seem to be half-heartingly walking a bit to catch back up to them.

You can go backwards to "get even" with someone...or you can just keep your grit and determination up and focus on becoming "ahead". and keep telling yourself...that you may not be able to see into the future and view the results of this kind of decision...but getting even or catching up is not working...nor producing the results you are looking for.

That is my guess and my advice that I also follow as closely as I possibly can.

Lets take it from the top...

How can you tell what is messages from God...and what are your personal thoughts?

Explain.

Can you name any prophecies that point directly to you...to sieze this role and give you authority to speak God's thoughts and wishes to us?

Explain.

Or are you in effect perhaps stepping on the real FDS's toes by claiming to be such?

If you do, and are not.....you are putting yourself in his way...he will have to defeat you to take his position from you. Is that what you want?

i admit to being curious as soon as i saw this new bit of propoganda put on the dining room table 'casually' in my view by my mother.

How about people claiming to be able to read God's mind? Claiming to be a guest in His head?

Shouldn't anyone claiming this be prepared for INTENSE scrunity and some tough questions only God KNOWS the answer to?

What happens if they start trying to pass off their guesses as truth and get caught doing it?

I think you are right...I think they are describing themselves.....even if it is just my guess.

2,000 years ago...Jesus posed a dilemma to the authorities of His day...the way people followed Him they quickly realized they had to make a choice......They would have to kill Him or eventually follow Him....how did they choose?

That is my "guess".

They seem to not be up for scrunity of their motivations behind their claims. I also noticed this quickly.....

But anyone who claims to be a guest in God's mind gets a severe amount of questions from me. I can't really explain it...but red flags start popping up everywhere...plus I would really like to have some answers to some of my questions only He truly knows.
